Introduction to the world of RPenners1

Hello everyone,

RPenners1 here, bringing you my first ever blog. I will start by giving an introduction into myself, which I hope will not send you all to the point of unconsciousness.

I'm a 3rd year university student at UCP Marjon in Plymouth, where I study Sports Science. This obviously means I will be enjoying writing a dissertation for the next few months. Yes, I used the words Enjoy and Dissertation together in the same sentence. I may not be the brightest spark in the world but I rubbed the two brain cells I have together and decided to pick a subject to study that genuinely interests me and I want to do. Therefore there will not be 87 twitter or facebook updates from me a day bemoaning how terrible the whole project is and how depressing my life has become.  People who do that sort of thing only have themselves to blame for their so called 'depression' and deserve more than just an unfollow or an unfriend. A firm back-hand slap springs to mind.

Moving on, I am also a very big sports fan, hence my choice of degree.  Apparently loving sports automatically means that you lack any form of intelligence, but I hope to prove otherwise.  My love covers many a sport including football, rugby and the WWE (the thing everyone grew out of when they were 12, yet somehow still has a hold over me). I'd like to think I'm a handy athlete however the world seems to dictate that you must have the body of a cast member of 300 and the fitness of Marathon runner to be successful, and I lack both of these so called requirements. However, I have played many a sport competitively so expect to see some views and opinions from me about many a different sport.

I also love to do a bit of gaming, mainly Call of Duty, Battlefield and FIFA. My mates always tell me I am an avid rage quitter, however I would like a game to be enjoyable as I spent 40 of my finest British Sterling on it and therefore would not like to be stressed out by the copious amounts of degenerates who play these games as if they were real life.  Quite frankly the ability to respawn should send a message to these people that the game is in fact a GAME, however they still choose to play it as if 1 death means you also die in real life.  I commend the players who go 2-9 yet still actually run around and play the games like what it is.

That's enough of an introduction into me. I do hope you enjoyed my blog and it bought a smile to your faces, and should I get good feedback, I will blog on a regular basis.. If you want to chat more to me then feel free to follow me on Twitter: @rpenners1.

Regards

P.S Happy St Piran's Day to all my Cornish comrades. Have a pasty (or 3) and a pint of ale to celebrate the day.
